This was first published in 1987 as a compendium of prayers covering a number of concerns for which people wish to pray.
It proved so popular that after a distribution of 25,000 we had decided that after a few years we would update it and publish it again. In the meantime requests for copies have never ceased.
In 1999 at the request of the Bishops of New Zealand, we published "Prayers in Common Use" "Ko Nga Karakia O Ia Ra" to make readily available to all Catholics the prayers we use each day. However this did not stem the requests for "Let Us Pray".
We have revised it again and published it again with our liturgical publications for 2002. We hope it will continue to be helpful in providing prayers for special needs and intentions.
